The Challenge
Chamber temperatures were logged on paper and checked a few times a day, with no alert when a unit drifted out of range. The business had no accurate picture of remaining capacity by chamber, and expiry dates were tracked separately, so write-offs happened to stock that had technically spoiled while space was still available elsewhere.
What We Built
We integrated a temperature feed per chamber, mapped stock to specific chamber locations, and built expiry and capacity views. Temperature excursions raise alerts, and dispatchers can see live occupancy before booking an inbound load.
- Live per-chamber temperature monitoring with excursion alerts
- Chamber location mapping and live capacity by unit
- FIFO dispatch suggestions based on inbound and expiry dates
- Expiry and write-off reporting by product and chamber
- Handover and dispatch logs per load
The Outcome
Spoilage became visible before it became a loss, and management can answer chamber-availability questions from the same screen they use to check temperatures.
