What is curl?
curl is a command-line tool for transferring data with URLs. Developers use it to test and debug HTTP APIs by sending requests with custom methods, headers, query parameters, authentication and bodies.
Why does the PowerShell command use curl.exe?
In Windows PowerShell, curl is an alias for Invoke-WebRequest, which accepts different arguments. Using curl.exe forces the real curl executable so flags such as -H and --data-raw behave exactly as written.
Is my request sent anywhere?
No. The builder only assembles a command string in your browser for you to copy. Nothing is executed or uploaded, so it is safe to include real tokens while you check the syntax.
