Unable to INSERT record

FRM-40508: ORACLE error: unable to INSERT record.

Why it happens

The INSERT failed in the database: unique or primary-key violation, NOT NULL column with no value, check constraint, trigger error, or a tablespace/space problem.

How to fix it

Reproduce the insert in SQL*Plus with the same values and read the ORA- error that follows. Fix the constraint, sequence, default or trigger, then retry the save.
