Good uses for Base64 images
- Inline icons and logos in an HTML email signature or template.
- A single-file demo where you cannot host an image separately.
- Small decorative backgrounds in CSS that should load with the stylesheet.
To shrink the image before encoding, use the Image Compressor or Image Format Converter. For text and files, the Base64 Encoder & Decoder handles the general case.
