Can I clean text copied from a PDF or website?

Yes. Enable "Strip HTML tags" for web pages, then trim lines and collapse spaces. PDFs often add extra line breaks, so "Join into one paragraph" is useful for those.

Does it change the meaning of my text?

It only changes whitespace, punctuation characters and line order when you ask it to. Words are never rewritten or spell-checked.

Is the text sent to a server?

No. Cleaning happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, logged or stored.
